Midweek there was a military
theme to the day, with vintage
vehicles from the Military Vehicle
Trust, radio-controlled model
tanks and, in the evening, a flying
display by second world war
Spitfire fighter G-IRTY.
There was also a barbecue served
by the lifeboat crew and musical
entertainment from Bridport
Broadsides shanty singers and
Bands in the Boathouse.
Later on in the week, the Greasy
Pole game was set up at the
water’s edge, crab fishing took
place in the harbour, birds of prey
made an appearance at the football
club, and the RNLI crew were
hosted by the bowls club.
