Regatta and Carnival Week
smashed the records!
R
EGATTA and Carnival Week
smashed the records and raised
more than £26,000 for local good
causes.
The event brings thousands of people
together in our town and the
committee announced 2026 was the
biggest fundraising total to date,
beating the previous record of £21,200
set in 2025.

spectacular fireworks display before
the traditional torchlight procession
which marked the start of a jampacked week of events and family
entertainment.

Regis across the week, before the
celebrations drew to a close with the
carnival processions through the town
and along the seafront.

week is distributed to local
organisations and community groups,
which means every collection bucket,
raffle ticket and event helped to put
money back into our community.

supporting the week’s events.
